The Lyrics

This actually happened to me last Friday. I forgot that there was no school/class. and I waited for the bus. Finally, Grandpa opens the garage door and I tell him the bus never came. So we drive off to school amid an empty parking lot. Then I realize that all the doors are locked except for those opened by the female, Hispanic janitor who doesn't understand English very well. Oh well, just read the parody. It's actually an exaggerated version of what happened.
Class today
There was none, but I went anyway
Didn't know I shouldn't come today
Oh, Why'd I leave for class today?

Suddenly
I cannot control the urge to pee
There's a shadow hanging over me
The janitor came suddenly

I asked If there's class
No reply, she wouldn't say
She said "Teacher!" wrong
She's not from US of Aaaaaaaa

Ran away
All the doors were locked, what can I say?
'cept the one I found not far away
Oh, why'd I leave for class today?

Why I had to go
I don't know, where was my brain?
I knocked on the door
Swiped the phone from Mister Aaaa-aaa-aaa-aaa

Yes, I stayed
Gave the phone back, and I went away
Soon as Grandpa came to take me 'way
Oh, why'd I leave for class today?

Sounds like something I would do, to be honest. However, the closest I can come would the time that I woke up and bolted out of bed because my alarm hadn't gone off. I ran around the house like a maniac, got ready as quickly as I could and sped off to work. For some reason, it didn't seem odd to me at all that it was dark as I was driving...and I didn't realize until I was walking to my desk, in a totally empty building, that I'd arrived an hour and a half early.

Not something I ever did while in school but, I did go to work one day, on a holiday. Didn't stay though. 555

Keep that school calendar handy, unless you plan on making a move for the janitor. You could teach her English...

Lol! At least your school isn't two hours away by car. Imagine waking up early to finish an assignment last minute and walking in after hours on the road that the teacher called in sick. :P

Funny one

You're far too nice. With me, it was always the other way around: I usually 'forgot' that there was school on actual schooldays and subsequently 'fell ill.' Of course, afterwards I was caught 'getting my medicine' and was 'deservingly' reprimanded. But enough of that, I'll say the antics you described in your parody were 'funny'. I mean funny. :-)

I decided to start hitting random once a day, see where it took me, and today it was this one, excellent parody--I know it's late, but 555 for you anyway--Bravo
