The Lyrics

You may notice I'm an "equal opportunity" political buster.
Bill was Oedipal... Watching Quasi-Ethical
Porno in the Home...
Late Nights all alone in the West Wing...
Oh.... oh oh oh...
A girl named Monica... Newly Hired at Hanukah...
Calls him on the Phone...
"Can I meet you under my Blue Skirt...
Bill.... Bubba Bill...."

But as she's getting ready to blow...
Her ex-friend hits "Record"...
(BANG BANG) Linda's Tape Recorder
Caught Bill upon his Bed...
(BANG BANG) Linda's Tape Recorder
made sure that he got Head!

Back in Court Again... Bill zips up his pants again...
Christian Right's Annoyed...
Salivating for an Unpleasant Scene...
They tell Bill to Say... "Monica's a Real Good Lay"...
So he Takes the Stand...
Stating fifty times "I did not have...
That...Ho ho ho..."

But when they turned the Camera Off...
He bared his Big Behind...

(BANG BANG) Linda's Tape Recorder
Came down upon his Head...
(BANG BANG) Linda's Tape Recorder
Made sure some States went Red.
(oh oh woh-woh)

Call Pat Robertson... Think we Caught a Dirty One...
Look...he has a "Bone"...
Making Messy Stains on her Blue Dress...
Oh...oh oh oh...
Socks and Hillary... Meeting up with Maury...
Povich for the Show...
"Will you Help me Catch him with that
Ho...ho ho ho?..."

But as the words were leaving her lips...
A tape falls from the Sky...

(BANG BANG) Linda's Tape Recorder
Showed Bill had Gotten Head...
(BANG BANG) Linda's Tape Recorder
Made Sure that he was Dead.

Wow! This is better than the original, which I always thought was pretty sick, Mssrs.Lennon & McCartney. In evidence of your talent, the subject matches completely the comic-hide-and-seek music. However I will not allow my grandmother to read it.

Tripps off the tongue. 5

Funny stuff, and as The Pomfret says, well matched to the OS.

TY Pomfret, John, and Mason. It helps when the OS is already pretty silly!

Brilliantly done, Brad - it is kind of a fun song to do, too. The subject matter seemed to fit :-)

Excellent wordplay - this is best when sung orally.

Wow...thank you everybody! BTW - On an unrelated note, if anyone cares, I have an actual recording I did of "Love Me Do" over in the recordings area of this site. It hasn't received any comments yet, so feel free to listen to it and let me know what you think...EVEN if you think it SUCKS! Thanks again.

Pretty good, despite my support for The Last President (so far), William Jefferson Clinton. But I had to dock you a point, because he was NOT "dead." Georgie Bush would kill for Clinton's approval ratings throughout his second term... or now, for that matter! (Note to Linda Sadtune: I only docked him one point.)
Brad Schuman - April 01, 2006 - Report this comment
Totally figurative...but that's okay....I know why you REALLY docked the point!
