Original Song Title:

"'Till There Was You"

Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"'Till My Hair Grew"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I had no hair at all
My pate was blindingly shiny
Yes my head was smooth as a ball
'Till my hair grew

Not a follicle breached
The perfection of my baldness
And my razor made it that way
'Till my hair grew

Then I had whiskers sprouting everywhere
Became quite hairsuite, razor broken, rogaine snuck through

Now my beard hits the ground
And my ponytail needs grooming
No, you'd never know I was bald
'Till my hair grew

Then I had whiskers sprouting everywhere
Became quite hairsuite, razor broken, rogaine snuck through

Now my beard hits the ground
And my ponytail needs grooming
No, you'd never know I was bald
'Till my hair grew

Till my hair grew

I'm a fan of doing several, even dozens of, versions of a single song. Kudos and fives.

You wearyour "hairsuite" quite well. (h-i-r-s-u-t-e) :) 555

Like Ag, I liked "hairsuite"; 5s for what's here, although would have liked to see more of your creativity in last two verses rather than repeats.
BTW, John B, I disagree: what's the point of doing the same OS over and over? RFLMAO :) :) :)

Think of J. Barry's (and Mason R.s) redoing the same songs over and over as a Theme With Variations, such as Bach would have done...or a post-modern critique, like Warhol's paintings of corporate brands. I think also music video directors Godley & Creme who made 21 videos for Yes' "Leave It", which all consecutively aired on MTV for nearly an hour one day on April Fool's Day sometime during the '80s. (obviously when MTV was still interesting)
TT - March 23, 2006 - Report this comment
Agrimorfee, my previous comment was self-mockery, as TT has done numerous parodies of "Goldfinger" (James Bond theme), and no doubt will do more (fair warning to all). John B. would have known that... see controversy over his identity at TT's eponymous tribute, "John Barry".
