The Lyrics

This was going to be called Destiny til I saw that M. Pacholek already had that title covered. So I changed my title.
Destiny, it's the way that things were meant to be
yes, but changing it is worth a try
Don't let the winds of change blow dry

Suddenly, you are twice the man you used to be
You could drop some weight and you'd be free
And you might change your destiny

Why we cannot know what's ahead
It's hard to say
If your life ain't long
Would you still throw some away?

Destiny, will it bring a smile to you and me
Only one day at a time, you see
Cause that's the road to destiny

Why we cannot know what's ahead
It's hard to say
If you knew life's length
Would you dare throw some away?

Destiny, we're becoming what we want to be
When this life is up, then we will see
The other side of destiny
mmmmmmmm

A thoughtful counterpoint to the nonsense that should have been posted under my "Model" title.

John, I see what you mean---maybe your parody will be posted correctly--I never saw that happen before.

Profound and deep. Royce, if you get the time would you take a look at my "The Boxer" parody "The Author", thanks.

Red Ant: I am looking at your parody "The Author" and will comment under it. Thanks to you and the others who read my parody here; it's one of those parodies in which I am musing about something myself, out loud.

Very good parody, and I especially like the last verse.

Sounds like a like introspection going on here...well, I'm in favor of that for myself now and then....nice job...hmmm...I looked deep down inside for some "5's"...but I couldn't find them amidst the clutter....so I'll have to give you some from the wading area (shallower, but still sincere...lol).
