Parody Song Title:

"Robert Mugabe"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

If anyone wants to argue that internal tyranny, rather than external exploitation, is the cause of Africa's trouble, they may use the dictator of Zimbabwe as "exhibit A". Rhodies are the whites living in Zimbabwe, the term referring to the country's former name Rhodesia, which in turn refers to the name of British colonist and racist Cecil Rhodes. (An appropriate punishment in Hell would put these two vile racists at each other's throats for all eternity.) This parody continues the (week old) tradition of having an instrumental part played by a famous politician.
Robert Mugabe, dictator for life
You're the only cause of Zimbabwe's strife

You have abolished private property
Down in Hades Marx looks at you with glee

Confiscated farms made by the Rhodies
Dirty work done by your racist mobs
Gave those farms to all your Marxist cronies
Blacks lost their jobs

Robert Mugabe, you're a basket case
You only discredit the human race

[sax solo by guest musician Bill Clinton]
Marxism sucks

One time Zimbabwe, it could feed itself
That's before you made it a living Hell

Saddam's fate I hope you will be sharing
Into jail I'm wishing you'll be stuck
No matter what color skin they're wearing
Racists all suck

Robert Mugabe, dictator for life
You're the only cause of Zimbabwe's strife

I wonder how many people know who this SOB is. His latest ploy, tearing down the houses of his poor enemies under the guise of urban renewal, puts him lower than worm dung. Well done parody. I like your sense of cosmic justice, too. 555

Great job on a loathesome tyrant.

Yep, Mugabe's a bozo all right.

A well-written and appropriate parody, but I had to dock you a point for your saxophone solo. If anyone should do it, it's Mugabe's pal Pat Robertson, who loves to make money off African diamonds, whether from leftists like Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire/Congo or rightists like P.W. Botha of South Africa. And while Clinton-hating is easy, ask yourself this: If Mugabe was such a dangerous Marxist, why didn't Reagan go after him when he had the chance? After all, he was willing to pick on that pipsqueak Daniel Ortega, who wasn't nearly as dangerous as Mugabe or Mobutu. Or Botha.

Uh... Mugabe wasn't really in power when Reagan was in office. And it was during the elder Bush's term that ol' Danny Ortega fell to Violeta Chamorro in Nicaragua's first free election (much to the chagrin of Noam Chomsky and his commie disciples). I suppose any number of people might be worse than Slick Willy Clinton politically speaking, but can any of them play the sax, I wonder? (The only other musical President we've had recently was Nixon, who could play the piano. What a team those two would make, huh?)

Jeez, Righty, can't ya just pipe down and let us all enjoy this parody?

Robert Mugabwe deserves to be parodied, and this is a good effort. Zimbabwe has a lot of natural resources, but because of his corruption, land reform, and socialistic tendencies, the country has been driven into poverty.

Interesting that Michael P's comment referred to Rhodes Scholar Bill Clinton. Since Rhodesia got a new name 25 years ago, when will Rhodes Scholarships be re-named?
