The Lyrics

For everyone who's ever watched Mr. Rogers Neighborhood
Ah, look at all the lonely children!
Ah, look at all the lonely children!

Mister Fred Rogers, puts on a sweater and gives a dim-witted grin.
Trolley comes in.

Looks at a picture, wearing the sneakers he keeps on a mat on the floor,
They reek for sure.

All the lonely children,
Why do they all tune in?
All the lonely children,
They want to be like him.

Mr. McFeely, making a speedy delivery, though eighty he's near.
I think he's queer.

Look at him smirking, letting Bob Dog hump his leg when not on the air.
Gives him a leer.

All the lonely children,
Why do they all tune in?
All the lonely children,
They want to be like him.

Mister Fred Rogers, sliding the trolley through tunnels, that was his game.
Everyone came.
Mister McFeely, wiping the seat of his bike as he rides off the stage.
He's so depraved.

All the lonely children,
Why do they all tune in?
All the lonely children,
They want to be like him.

Mixed feelings here, well-written, but gosh...trashing Mr. Rogers? Is nothing sacred? Not around here, I guess...but since we are talking about parodies what it really does is get people to think about Fred Rogers again...I think that brings about mostly positive reactions and rememberances...so I'm dropping off three "5's" in you neighborhood ~ ~ ~

I have mixed feelings about Mr. Rogers: Ya culdn't help but like the man....but the show was so darn gay! Even at 5, I used to watch it just to make fun! This was a hasty parody- I should've done something more along the lines of "Ah, look at all the homely puppets..." Thanks for the 5's Paul!

If you're gonna make fun of Mr. Rogers, it better be really, really funny. This was just disgusting. Picture, Picture, on the wall, worst parody of them all? Not in anyone's Neighborhood of Make-Believe was this one good.
