People may look back on fall 2019 as an embarrassing period in American politics. Several folks believe, and still do, there was and is a number of "soft coup" attempts on President Donald Trump. You be the judge--you might do better than those on any number of the committees!

So, is this off the debut album of "The Impeach Boys" I think I've heard of a couple other songs from that one. May have to put them down on paper soon

With a few other parodies, this could be the start of a compendium (I love that word!) of anti-impeachment songs. The others could include "He's Flailing Away" and "The Day Mueller's Report Did Come Down", and "It's Subpoena Time" for the (literally!) set up of this whole misadventure. IIRC, most albums had 11-13 songs per disc so I still have my work cut out for me!

We always use the press cause we end run the laws; And we haven't fussed yet with due process clause .. ( do do do doo do da DOO DOO, da DOO DOO dee Doo Doo) .. None of his rights are guarded cause it wouldn't be bright; To leave impeachment thwarted in a stand up fight

Whistleblower, you're right. I went back and checked again--the site where I got the lyrics either froze or I didn't see the "bridge" and 3rd verse. I myself thought the song was longer; at least it did the last time I heard it. So stand by with some additions or editions to come soon. I really am glad you brought this to my attention.
