Song Parodies -> "Let There Be Immigrants"

Original Song Title:

"Let There Be Peace On Earth"

Original Performer:

Sy Miller & Jill Jackson

Parody Song Title:

"Let There Be Immigrants"

Parody Written by:

Steve Kalafut

The Lyrics

Easily the least favorite of any OS I have parodied, so consider this a major act of masochism. Playing TOS in a prison would violate the "cruel and unusual punishments" part of the Bill Of Rights. Like other parodists, I credit Miller & Jackson as the original artists. Dedicated to the idea that one can be pro-immigrant while simultaneously opposing ILLEGAL immigration.
Let there be immigrants,
If they come here legally
If they obey the law,
Then they'll be like you and me

If you cross our borders
Our rules you'll obey
If you don't want to do this,
Then stay the heck away

Don't give them amnesty,
Since that would be so unfair
To those here legally
Now let me say why I care

The rights that we have and
They want come with responsibility
Let's welcome immigrants,
If they come here legally

I DKTOS, and given your opening comment I think I'll pass in looking for it. Good idea, well said.
