Warning: This is a very dark story of two German-Jewish brothers that have fought the Nazis and have been shot. The Gestapo is closing in and they are going to die. The song is from their POV. The German term "bubi" means "little brother" (akin to "little buddy" in US). Many will find this very disturing... it is NOT meant to be funny at all, but educational and emotional. It certainly is NOT Anti-Semitic. If anything, it represents armed resistance to the Nazis, but is shrouded in hopelessness and deep despair... Not all parodies are positive and funny, some are negative, dark, tragedies told in song. This is the latter type. Like others here, I am not authorizing any comments on religious themes nor materials that are this dark. I just hope each viewer can read this objectively and with maturity, knowing the history behind what has been put to song...
