Here's another parody I wrote conveying my anxieties I have losing the friendships I made with people that swim competitively mostly in college or university.
Most times I'm scared have panic attacks
My own fears all stab my back
These athletes, in college, all the swim for the team
Friendships with these guys might seem like a dream
Hey swimmers are people, yeah, yeah
There is a short one who swims
for TCNJ who's majoring in CE
Who I met at the Y
Different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby-dooby-dooby
We gotta swim together
I am not perfect and neither are they
If don't matter if you swim or just play
You're my friend, not my friend
You meet me and then
I just worry if the friendship will end
Hey swimmers are people
There is a tall one that's still
attending Rowan
And masters in the sprint free
And believes soc. equality

you will know the true friends you made while swimming competitively. they will still be your friends, even after college.
I don’t swim competitively tbh.
When I was in Navy boot camp we all had to qualify in swimming (even though Naval vessels are too tall to jump from and there are lifeboats). I never swam before but i passed by doing a simple dog paddling. Almost everybody passed the test, I'd say 99.99%. You just gotta try and give it some effort and oomph. And I never had to swim again.
