The Lyrics

Doing my biannual (once every two years) Harry Potter read-through, in British editions when I can find them. The Ginny-Tom-Harry triangle keeps fascinating me. SPOILER ALERT if you haven't read or seen HP2. OS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSnbaPW1Cfw Story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_and_the_Chamber_of_Secrets
Tom Riddle:
He’s the boy, the boy in the secret book
And secret nook.

With no qualm, Riddle
Beckons you to enter his mystery,
But, sister, flee!

He will coax you to pour out your soul,
But to get to your soul is his goal!
When a first-year girl learns all his secrets,
It will lead to death—and regrets…

Tom Riddle!
Ginny girl, beware of his diary’s
“Inquire-ries”!

He’ll give ear to your stresses and strife
While he’s stealing your essence of life,
For a Gryffin’ girl, after he’s quizzed her,
Will be left for dead—by wizard…

Tom Riddle!
Ginny girl, beware of this charming sort;
He’s Voldemort!

He’s Lord Voldemort!
Voldemort!
You-Know-Who!
He’s Lord Voldemort!
Voldemort!
VOL-DE-MOOOORRRRRT!

Apart from the slight mismatch in pronunciation between sort and the last syllable of Voldemort (the latter's a French word), I thought this was an excellent effort overall. Accurate rendering of the story cleverly fitted to a classic Shirley Bassey single. 555 for you!
