The Lyrics

Submitted to Q104.3 in NYC
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale of the Stock Market dip

That started with a bailout call to right the economy's ship

George Bush had a mighty bailout plan, his intentions were for sure

That banks can no longer guarantee a mortgage to be secure
A mortgage to be secure

The weather started getting rough,
And the first bill just got tossed,

If not for rework of the fearsome bill,
The Bailout would be lost.
The Bailout would be lost.

The bill was passed but the market crashed and no one has a smile
Like Wachovia.....
And Housing too.....
No more Millionaires ....
And good life....
The Retirement Plan ....
Are Gone for the day and we have to stay
here on Bailout Bill's Isle.

Did you know you could also set these lyrics to "Stairway to Heaven", "Amazing Grace" or "House of the Rising Sun". Possibly, "America the Beautiful", "Ghost Riders in the Sky" & "Little Town of Bethlehem". Did I leave any others out? Good commentary on the unsolvable economic mess.
