Wasted money is spent
Yet economy’s rent
Blown dough for foolish gent
Who’s no longer a regent

Country’s broke but pounds can be found
To put on his head a crown
In a land whose means are slowed means
King blows the dough

This bloated ceremony is a treasury drain
Appalling bilking for a galling reign
A sinecure handout for an inbred clown
In ermine frock who takes a walk through London town

A King!
Wasted money is spent

Leeching on the public breast

Though economy faces doom
For this farce there’s plenty of room
In a land were teem broken dreams
King-stolen dough

Wasted pounds won’t relent
Though the lands Brexit-bent
