As "Obama 2.0 - The Thoughtful Soothing Moderate" begins its run in D.C. with a new cast (Daley for Rhambo, no Gibbs, no Axelrod, etc.), not everybody is charmed by the change. The left wing of the Democratic Party, who claimed to have elected Obama and called the shots for his first two years, is livid! Even though the changes are cosmetic rather than substantial, we're now hearing the undiminished rancor of the left lashing at a most unlikely target. ;D
Broken pledges fall,
Shatter in the White House hall.
Ingrate to the Left!
Didn't close Gitmo!
Where'd our public option go?
Traitor to the Left!
Kept the Bush tax cuts - 'though he swore he'd kick butts
And give all the rich such a twist.
Promised recov'ry then came the discov'ry
Sho-vel ready jobs don't exist.

Purists - I used the Ray Charles version because of the form and cuts. I have cut one syllable from the fourth line of the bridges. BTW, as for the rhyme scheme, check out TOS. There is not one rhyme in the whole song! ;D
