He tripped in tightened shackles,
Spurned smart deals offered forth.
And his reeling mind was weakened
By loud calls from the court.
His doom becoming larger,
As his pleading was in vain.
He was hauled off to the cluttered clink.
The jailer locked his chains.

And so misjudged, that stranger--
As some killers joked and wailed--
Had to face a term in pokey,
Serve a frightful stay in jail.

He thought, "I hope they ignore me.
So uncouth, these jerks seem mean."
As he looked at all the crooks and gasped,
Swarthy dude just beamed,
Saying, "You must be my stir-mate."
Rookie recluse, horrified
By this vi'lent freak so creepy,
And the banger's cage-rage gibes.

And so misjudged, that stranger--
As some killers spoke of tales,
How the 'mates would squirm with loathing--
Served a frightful stay in jail

He said, "There is so reason
I should brood at fate so bleak.
But I squandered all my credit cards
On my lawyer's fees."
One of fifteen restroom virgins,
He was sneaking from those oafs.
And his woeful mind was hopin'
He might reach his cell ungroped.

And so misjudged, that stranger--
As some killers croaked and flailed,
And debased some perps just grossly--
Served a frightful stay in jail.

And so misjudged, that stranger--
As the killers roamed the jail--
Had his fate reversed by cronies.
Stirred by plight, they paid his bail.
