The Lyrics

When you're alone and your owner is absent
You can always go - meow, meow.
You are worrying, all the noise and the purring
Seems to help, I know - meow, meow.
Just listen to the rancor of the traffic in the city,
Linger on the sidewalk where the neighbor's cars are pretty
While you're looking for his....

This aparment's so boring
When you're owner's out roaming, he's forgetting you,
So go meow, meow, let go of the stress,
Meow, Meow - he'll be home soon you guess,
Meow, Meow - you're tired of waiting for him!

Don't mope around and let your belly surround you,
There are toys on the floor - meow, meow
Maybe you know some little places to go to
in his cab-i-nets - meow, meow
Just listen to the rhythm of a nearby ice cream truck
Get into his bathtub and chew his rubber duck
You'll make him mad

This aparment's so boring
When you're owner's out roaming, he's forgetting you,
So go meow, meow, let go of the stress,
Meow, Meow - he'll be home soon you guess,
Meow, Meow - you're tired of waiting for him!

And you just may find a neighbor kind enough to pet you,
Someone who like cats and needs a furry friend to
make them happy

This aparment's so boring
When you're owner's out roaming, he's forgetting you,
So go meow, meow, let go of the stress,
Meow, Meow - he'll be home soon you guess,
Meow, Meow - you're tired of waiting for him!

Meow, meow....

Cats are too snobbish to get bored!

Thanks for the offer, Guy, but Spot is too wired as it is. Catnip is the LAST thing that cat needs!!! Btw, I did pick up another job besides the Express-News, but it's a M-F 8-4:30 position, won't be so bad. That pretty much makes Sunday afternoon my best time if you want to meet. -- MM

Michael McV - Cute number. I don't think I've ever had a cat that wasn't a little more diabolical than yours here but there is certain kittenly cuteness to that type. Perhaps that's more a reflection on me...either that or mine was really brain-dead and dumb as a post and I was just imagining all the scheming, plotting and disrespect. Hmmm...must be about time to re-fill my Rx.

Difference between a dog and a cat: You feed a dog - He thinks, "You fed me. . .You must be a god!" You feed a cat - He thinks, "You fed me . . . I must be a god!"

Very funny, but I thought cats were more annoying when people are home.

Light and friendly parody. Some pacing issues, but overall fun for the whole family.
