Parody Song Title:

"Clemens' Fee"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

the yankees need his help again
and at this time, he's free
they'll teach those sox a lesson
if they just pay clemens' fee
its plain he has the stuff, this boy
they're desperate, can't you see ?
they'll bend way over backward
just to meet ol' clemens' fee

clemens' fee, very hefty
but ol' clemens' power is sweet
get a suit on that ol' clemens
he's impossible to beat

they called him in the month of may
their arms in short supply
a deal so sweet that roger smiled
and quickly said, "i'll try"
he had a hummer fast enough
to still get by, you see
ol' georgie pulled his wallet out
to pay that high priced fee

clemens' fee, very hefty
but ol' clemens' power is sweet
get a suit on that ol' clemens
he's impossible to beat

although his age is quite absurd
he'll take the cash and run
a pennant's what they have in mind
but can the task be done ?
the yanks believe it, brother
and you know it may come true
they need an equalizer now
and roger just may do

clemens' fee, very hefty
but ol' clemens' power is sweet
get a suit on that ol' clemens
he's impossible to beat

The Yankees suck, but this parody's great. What's Clemens' number? The code is NY5.

This parody goes the distance--unlike most young pitchers these days who aren't allowed to throw more than 100 pitches.

I see Clemens picking 555 pieces of ticker-tape out of his hair come Halloween.

Clever title and parody, but how could you do a parody of Roger Clemens' contract and not mention the clause that enables him to leave the team on days that he is not pitching?
