Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Taco Ole'"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

sittin', cause my lunch has come
i'm not splittin' till my meal is done
salsa, with chips thrown in
and taquitos rolled with steak within

sittin' at the "taco ole' "
lettin' the time roll away
sittin' at the "taco ole' "
tastin' fine

its just like home...they gorge ya
every night, i stuff my face
now, i've stopped goin' to rib joints
looks like nothin's gonna top this place

so, i'm just sittin' at the "taco ole' "
lettin' the time roll away
i'm just sittin' at the "taco ole' "
tastin' fine

looks like management's been changed
everything's weird...and not the same
they don't do...what those people here, used to do
and i noticed they changed the name

since i'm here, menu gets shown
abalone and fresh eel that's deboned
or two trout, that's fried or poached
now the waiter has approached

now i'm just sittin' here at "octopus bay"
havin' the fried fish filet
i'm just sittin' here at "octopus bay"
tastin' fine

Speaking as a song title cop, I happen to know that TOS is titled "Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay." Speaking as a punctuation cop, I happen to know that Ole is not spelled with an apostrophe. To make the E with the accent mark, all you have to do is hold down the alt key, type "0233" on the numeric keypad, and release alt. Speaking as myself, I enjoyed this parody very much so I will give it a perfect vote of 5,5,5.

Great substitutions throughout, especially the title line and (again) "gorge ya". 5s.

The guy in this parody reminds me of 'Norm.' "Under new management", he keeps on eating and doesn't really notice. : D 5's
