The Lyrics

diggin', where they ain't no sun
we'll be diggin' when the evenin' comes
watchin' the walls cave in
and then we wait until its safe again...yeah

i'm diggin' with ol' doc in the cave
workin' inside...ev'ry day...ooh
i'm just diggin' with ol' doc in the cave
what a mine !

we make our home in forests
head off ev'ry single day
cause we got gemstones to look for
it looks like fortune gonna come our way...so

i'm just gonna dig with ol' doc in the cave
workin' inside ev'ry day...ooh
i'm diggin' with ol' doc in the cave
what a mine !

looks like snow white hasn't changed
ev'ry day still remains the same
won't improve...till some prince'll know what to do
then i guess she will take his name...yes

diggin' here...sore in my bones
and ol' dopey just won't leave me alone
happy just smiles...you know
and we all call doc, our bro...now

i'm just gonna dig with ol' doc in the cave
workin' inside ev'ry day...ooh
diggin' with ol' doc in the cave
what a mine !

(they whistle hi-ho, hi ho)

Alvin, you really are FABulous. Some days I don't get a chance to get on as much as I used to...but I always make a point to check your stuff out. Great job!

At first I thought this was about the fact that Osama bin Laden is apparently on dialysis. Then I thought the "doc in the cave" was Batman's butler Alfred, who apparently was a British medic in World War II. Then I thought the "doc in the cave" was Dr. Henry Jones Jr., PhD., alias Indiana Jones. Never occurred to me that it was about the dwarf. Better hide the Stonehenge models.

So if you stage a demonstration with the dwarves, do you call it a cave-in? Or do dwarve psychologists perform a real mine job? And besides grumpy, all the others are short and sweet. Wonderfully written. 5's
