Fred Phelps gives an all new meaning for the word "crackpot". Fives.
I was in Topeka, Kansas over the weekend and saw the new "rainbow" house just across the street from the Westboro compound. When I met Phelps years ago, he seemed to be just your average right-wing crackpot, no worse than any other. Most of my friends would be considered right-wing crackpots by the current administration. I do remember "Winchester Cathedral". My mom liked that song. I thought it might be some place where people went to worship guns. If you want to see the rainbow house, go to Google images and look for 3700 S.W. 12th Street, Topeka, Kansas. Westboro is 3701. Still trying to figure out why Phelps flies that "gay" looking flag above the (upside down) US flag.
