Original Song Title:

Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"It's Esther The Diva"

Parody Written by:

Miranda Turner

The Lyrics

It's Esther the diva;
She's got a new name.
But what of her ego?
Will that be the same?

She says, with Kabbalah,
She's now quite devout.
Don't think it a fad, no!
She might bless you out!

Now everyone knows just how she's one mighty rich gal.
She didn't come this far along
But for her flair as Material Girl.

It's Esther the diva;
She's got a new name.
But what of her ego?
Will that be the same?

Oh-vo-de-o-do oh-vo-de-o-do
Oh-vo-de-o-do de-Well, duh!

Oh wow -- there's TWO of us on this site who actually knows this song! Kudos.

I love the way she tried to get Britney Spears, Stella McCartney and now Victoria Beckham in on the whole Kabbalah racket. Madge changing her name is nothing new, but I doubt she will help people the way Yusef Islam (Cat Stevens as was) did.
