The Lyrics

Seems like not long ago, I was thinking "anyone but Ken" - not that I dislike Ken Livingstone that much, but I do think that London needs a change. However, I do get the feeling that Boris Johnson's "buffoon" act really is an act designed to cover up the fact that he really *is* a real, dyed-in-the-wool 24-carat buffoon.
There he was just a-wafflin' on TV,
What a Hooray Henry, is he dumb? How to tell?
Lookin' the picture of sheer buffoonery,
What a Hooray Henry, he looks dumb, dumb as hell
He looks dumb (looks dumb), he looks thick (looks thick)
He looks dumb, he looks thick - like the proverbial brick

Before I knew it he was trying to be Mayor
Was the Hooray Henry, is he dumb? Is it true?
It's kinda scary, what he'll do if he gets there
He's a Hooray Henry - if he wins, then we're screwed
But he'll win (He'll win?), wait and see (you'll see)
He's win - you'll see, just because he's on TV

Whoa-oh, and London is going to pay-ay-ay-ay
If they vote for: Alexander Boris de Pfeffel J

We wanted Red Ken to be off the public purse
But that Hooray Henry - are we dumb? Maybe true
Will we pick the only person here who could be worse?
He's a Hooray Henry, kinda dumb, pretty crude
Vote for him? (vote him) Not me! (not me)
Vote him - not me, I'd rather vote U.K.I.P.

Whoa-oh, I've not vote UKIP befor-or-or-re
My problem is: can't someone give me somebody worth voting for?

Quite promiscuous, this tousle-haired hooray
He's a Hooray Henry, did he come? Did he? True..
Seem kind of fitting his initials are "BJ"
Are the Hooray Henry's
Well, he's up- (he's up-), -per class (-per class)
He's upper class, always talking out his

Whoa-oh-oh-oh, oh s**t
Hooray Henry, pretty dumb? we're all screwed if he wins
Hooray Henry, is he dumb? pretty true, oh s**t, oh, no s**t
Hooray Henry, is he dumb? is it true?

Great stuff. Can't beat a good dig at a politician. Especially this politician :) When they were still casting Casino Royale, one of the bookies (at least) had Boris Johnson at 500/1 for the next Bond... God help MI6 if he'd got it.

Excellent stuff, Phil....as a London resident, it scares me to death that ol' BJ with his stupid blonde moptop has a good chance of winning....and I despise Livingstone. Oh well, time to move to Scunthorpe,...:-P 555+

Adam - I reckon I'd still prefer Boris as Bond to Boris as Mayor...
Kristof - me, too (even though I'm slightly outside London). As election date approaches, it's getting harder for Boris to stay out of reach of the media, so the gaffe count is liable to increase..
