Little foxes in the forest.
Little foxes in the icy Arctic.
Little foxes on the prairie.
Little foxes with different names.

There’s a gray one and a red one
And a cape one and a hoary one
And a bat-eared one and a kit one
And they don’t look all the same.

And the foxes from their burrows
All go to a chicken house.
Eat the birdies, bones and all,
And they all have different names.

And there’s pampas and fennecs
And Tibetan sand foxes.
And they’re all kinda khaki wacky,
But they don’t all look the same.

And they run across the golf course
And eat the voles and mice.
And they all have little fox kits
And the little kits learn to hunt

And kits play all summer
Learning how to hunt.
Using earth’s magnetic fields,
And they come out just the same.

And the boy kits go out searching,
Mate, and make a family.
They’re symbols of wacky tricky
And what does the fox say?
