Bigger boxes under highways, bigger boxes made of cardboard
Lined up neatly, filled completely, and they all look just the same
And the people in the boxes, all went to universities
Landed jobs in US companies, and they all look just the same

Then GW, the decider, he tanked the economy
No redemption, a Great Depression, and his cronies are just the same
Then the CEO’s and executives, all living in mansions
Moved the companies off to Asia, with slave wages just the same

Then our workers all were laid off, cause it’s cheaper to outsource
And they lost their homes and incomes, unemployed just the same.
And the wealthy, oh so shallow, they cheat on their taxes
And the IRS won’t take action, cause they’re crooks just the same

And the people can’t get healthcare, and don’t qualify for welfare
Unless they, are from Mexico, where the food all tastes the same
So the families’ poor and middle class, pick through dumpsters for boxes
To set up under the highways, so they’ll all look the same.
