The Lyrics
This song, while not the most popular from the show, is a long time favorite of mine. Even after September 11th. Now, can the "kids" agree on something? I ignored Armstrong's (and Hollywood's) cuts to retain the dialogue effect from the musical.
REPUBLICANS
There are rogues
A-runnin' some nations,
And I mean to bag me a few.
All those rogues
cause exasperations.
We've got a lot of bombin' to do.
On that day,
September 11th,
"Muslim" terrorists
stole airplanes we flew!
Though our "friends"
don't want to admit it,
