Parody Song Title:

"Bingo"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

She found her seat at the St. Wynn church
And gave her handbag one last search
Dauber check time - she'd need 'em tonight
The purple, the orange, and the yellow, bright
She was tightly strung, much like Barney Fife
Her nickname, as this game in life, was Bingo

Bingo - Bingo

She'd started young, the age of eight
Went with her mom and grandma, Kate
Played six cards, but soon scanned ten
Then doubled that two times again
The rest of the players just watched in awe
A better scanner, they never saw, than Bingo

Bingo - Bingo

She took to it like fish to worms
Drew "Hi's" and smiles from gray-haired Perms
Encouraged her with, "Good Luck, Kid"
Soon dusted them - like a drag race skid,
Their "Hi's" and smiles turned to a scowl
As often she'd stand up and holl-er BINGO!"

BINGO! ... BINGO!

Six nights a week the halls were blessed
As Bingo played, and played her best
She'd win Bonanza - Corners Four,
Collect the cash - and play some more
Her eyeballs rollin' quick about
Prepared was she, to shout it out, Bingo!

Bingo! - Bingo!

Her scanning speed was next to none
Kept the cards spread out - two hundred-one
On a banquet table just for her
The crowd would watch and see a blur
Two flying feet, a lightning neck
As, like a bird, she'd dauber peck, Bingo

Bingo - Bingo

One Sunday night when crowds were large
Into the church, two robbers charge
With guns, demanding patron's cash
And Bingo acted in a flash,
Like frisbees, hurled her bingo cards
Confused the crooks - till caught by guards, Bingo!

Hero! - Hero!

The story spread of her brave deed
In daily papers all would read
Bingo played on - as years rolled by
Till the age of ninety when she'd die
The strings of destiny were strummed
There in the hall, Bingo succumbed, at bingo

bingo - bingo

They placed a plaque in St. Wynn Hall
With Bingo's name, there on the wall
To tell the tale of what she done
And all the bingo games she'd won
Her portrait hangs above a stand
A golden dauber in her hand - our Bingo

Bingo - Bingo

Bingo..
