The Lyrics

We've been playing these guitars, ever since we were in school
We've been playing just Fender, 'cause it made sound so cool
I'll try now Gibson, try humbuckers two
I'll try now Gibson, try something new

Well, I like sound of Strat and Tele, it's clear and it is bright
I doubt that your sound is any better, but play it with now all your might
So try now that Gibson, Les Paul or Flying Vee
You may play Gibson, Fender's good for me!

Now when you speak about the guitars, don't you forget Brian May
and his good old plain Red Special, it's home made all the way
It is not Gibson, or not Ibanez
It is not Gibson, but he can play with ease

When I play Gibson with the sustain, it will produce soft and full sound
All those effects gonna make me output that is nice and round
I will try Gibson, with the fuzzbox to thrill -
I will try Gibson, you may play Strat as you will

Now we've been playing these guitars, ever since we were in school
and quarreling which is the best one is a thing now kind of fool
It is not Gibson - nor Fender heaven sent
Neither is better - they're just different!

I'm not familiar with electric guitars, but I like your writing.

2Eagle, Gibson and Fender are the "classic rivals" amongst the e-guitars. Almost all e-guitars are either Fender Stratocaster or Gibson Les Paul copies. Fender basic design is either two (Telecaster) or three (Stratocaster) single-coil pickups, which produce crisp and sharp sound; Gibson basic design is two double-coil (humbucker) pick-ups, which produce soft and full sound. But since there are multitudes of various effect devices and the sound can be handled electronically, it is all just matter of taste

Brian May (Queen) has constructed his own guitar, "The Red Special" by himself from 19th century furniture which was about to be junked. He built even the pick-ups by himself.

Thought I'd check this out as I just submitted same OS. Well, I'm no guitar techie, but this one's well-tuned and has produced an inventive and original solo to do Brian May proud.
