I see the blues a'comin'
Clothes of a thousand men
Ain't seen no other color
Since, I don't know when
I'm stuck in "Fold Some" prison
I do the laundry, (groan)

These cons are pretty messy
They dirty up their duds
They're always sloppin' coffee
A lotta' stains a' blood
And If I don't get em spotless
Big Bubba jumps my hide
So, I scrub 'em and I soak 'em
In lots of Shout and Tide

Well, if they freed me from this prison,
Goin' straight would not be hard
I'd sure as hell not buy a laundry
I'd be a prison guard
Far from "Fold Some" Prison
A place where they wear gray
