The Lyrics

If you do not know the OS, a low bit-rate MP3 can be found here

As I stalk in hand my blowgun sings
Plied secretions of frogelings
Amphibi-ness has tipped my protrusions
Filled my dartlets in profusion

Fatal’y stunned are the croaken darted
Who are struck are soon departed
Poison is most unkind
If shot is well aligned
Grazing...

The dendrobates loll in wet ground
Must take care to not be fumblin' 'em 'round
Simply take dart-points - poke a little frogger
It’s become a lethal pronger

I walk till hapless quarry I spy
Point and then blow! Project’les they fly
Hoping and praying, and trusting my luck
In not erring: instead of blow, suck !

Fatal’y stunned are the croaken darted
Who are struck are soon departed
Chocos had luck to find
Venomous peeper-kind
All free...

The nervous system’s left aggrieved
Batrachotox’- it is guaranteed
Oh, all is lost, there's some missiles portending
In that cleft is a mephitic ending

Now fatal’y stunned are the croaken darted
When their blood gets spines imparted
First they will go half-blind
Some kind of lose their mind
Life slips into disrepair
Ribbiting’s a lethal snare
Victims croaking out a plea
They know they’ll soon supine-y be
(Tadpoles have a lifelong aim:
Grow up to be a bane)

Very Johnny D-esque title and topic! Too funny, M&P! I did as you requested and deleted the MP3... immediately after listening to it. =) (thanks for providing it). 5s

Very original and creative, but I'm afraid I must meekly admit that many of the words wing beyond my twelfth grade vocabulary

Any parody that features the word "dendrobates" immediately qualifies for a full set of 5s. Brilliant, hobbits!

Why'd someone leave 1's on this? That kind of voting is totally uncalled for, if you ask me.

Nice-555! Blowguns are still used all over the Third World while the West went chemical, biological, and electrical... Modern US and Euro SF blow guns are pneumatic and fire anything from poison needles to heavy flechettes!!!

Rob - thank you for checking it out! I bet the modern ones let the frogs be, though, eh? I must admit, my first idea for this was the frogs, the darts were secondary, but I was pleased with how it turned out. This is one of my all time favorite titles on an M&P parody.
