The Lyrics

In this parody, Grover tells Elmo about his color while the others sing this song.
[intro]
Grover: Alright,
Now watch this, Elmo.

Grover: You don't care about me,
I don't care about that,
You like the color red, ha!
I'd laugh about that.

Grover: I'd only have one color that's better,
Let me tell you about my color.

Grover: Let me tell you about my color.
Let me tell you about my color.
Let me tell you about my color.
Let me tell you about my color.

Elmo: Listen here, Grover.
And stop saying it's over.
You say your color is blue,
It ain't Elmo's color,
Just go and talk to Elmo and he'll give you a flower.

Elmo: Elmo only has one art that looks better.
Let Elmo tell you about his color.

Elmo: Let him tell, Grover (let him tell you about his color)
Let him tell (let him tell you about his color)
Let him tell (let him tell you about his color)
Oh, let him tell (let him tell you about his color)

Mickey: Oh, go crazy, Minnie!
And let Mickey get lazy!
Yeah, you know what I'm talking about!
Yeah, dance with me, baby!
That's what I'm talking about!

Leap: Hey, Kermit! Hey!
Now listen here, Kermit!

Leap: You trying to say your color, you save the color green!
Save it until the Hulk gets mean,
I only have one of my favorite colors,
Let me tell you about my color!

Leap: Let me tell you (let me tell you about my color)
Let me tell, (let me tell you about my color)
Let me tell, (let me tell you about my color)
Oh, let me tell (let me tell you about my color)

[Fade out]

Elmo: Ow, yeah, you better tell Mickey, Grover.
Mickey: I ain't gonna hurt you, Minnie.
Grover: Oh, I ain't talkin' about the blue doggy,
Leap: ow, ah yeah, this is Leap, talkin' to ya.
Kermit: Yeah, froggy, whoo!

Funny idea (I could easily see it being done in real life on the show, without referneces to Mickey & Minnie!), but there's too much of the original's words here.

Aw, thanks. And how'd you know it was being done in real life?
