Computer's broken down on me
All of the numbers, never understood
So I just crunched them online in a high tech world

I was working late, was a superstar,
I had reports I needed so far,
In my work load pile I read
"close the books or you'll be dead"

I couldn't leave, so switched on a light
I'll never forget my problem and plight
The frying wires, the blank screen glass
The painful whirr that I heard last

Now then I broke up, the pain was boring down
There were worksheets laying all around
Some big form in front of my eyes,
But I ground it in the shredder that night,

So crazed I said I would file it "dead"

Report was close, remembered our last miss,
