This song is based on an incident reported from Madrid in 2012: a man got struck in the scrotum by a lightning bolt. Apart from it being difficult to understand how this is physically and/or anatomically possible, how unlucky can you be?

More like "Great Balls ON Fire."
Lightning strikes to the head or chest are more likely to be fatal, but there are lots of survivors. Strikes to the midsection can occur but still may leave substantial burns and disability. Couldn't find media reports of outcome of your protagonist. Was he up to walking down the street again?
Lightning bolt, eh? Still probably a lot less dangerous than McDonald's hot coffee in a Drive-through :-))
