The Lyrics

I was challenged to parody this song - it took about 15 minutes. Hope you enjoy!
Pain, pain, pain (pain, pain, pain)
Pain, pain, pain (pain, pain, pain)
Pain, pain, pain (pain, pain, pain)
Pain from stool

For five long hours
I was sitting on the can
But all I was doing
Was just pushing in vain
Just sitting on the potty
Waiting to pass some stool
My pipes aren't clean
Ooh, grunting like a mule

Pain, pain, pain (pain, pain, pain)
Pain from stool

Take a whiff
This just might stink
It may be a week, child
But it'll have some length

Sitting here red faced on my throne
My father said "Come on foam!"
My doctor said "Take it easy"
But my poop has been stored way to long
I've felt this before

Pain, pain, pain (pain, pain, pain)
Pain from stool
Pain, pain, pain (pain, pain, pain)
Pain from stool

One of these mornings this pain is going to fade
But up until then I'm going to take a little break

(repeat and fade)
Pain, pain, pain (pain, pain, pain)
Pain from stool
Pain, pain, pain (pain, pain, pain)
Pain from stool

Oh man, I'm almost embarrassed to admit that this made me laugh out loud, for real....it really did! Colonic genius and hilarity here! Sure, I'll flush down a set of 5's for this happy crap! ;-D

The site I got the lyrics said Jennifer Paige. I don't know who the original artist is. Oh, and it's called a parody for a reason and I only did it because I was pretty much asked to. And I stand behind my work.

I issued the challenge, and you met it butt-on. 5s.

Actually, I originally performed it in the sixties. Jen must have done a cover version in the 90s or 00s.

Where did all the comments go that were up here?

I don't know. That's totally bizarre that they're gone. I thought they were perfectly valid. I just said I didn't like this one, that's all. What could be wrong with any person stating his or her opinion of the parody? Aren't we all entitled to our opinions?

I didn't see anything wrong either. I just pust up some info on Jennifer Paige and how she was signed, had a top ten hit and all with a song called Crush. Her version of this song was actually a dance mix that I never heard. Oh well.

And I mentioned that Jennifer Paige wasn't born until the 70's, which is correct, so to put it in 60's would be an anachronism.
And you had also mentioned that her "dance mix" version of "Chain of Fools" was recorded in the 90's.
Those are in fact true statements. Now that we've re-established them, I think we can close the discussion about it now.
