If you follow Canadian politics, there was recently a byelection held in the St. Paul riding in Toronto where MP Carolyn Bennett resigned (thank goodness), Don Stewart (Conservative) and Leslie Church (Liberal) were neck and neck with the Conservatives coming out on top in a close race, even though it was close, it's a big win as that riding had been Liberal for 30 years and the Conservatives haven't been competitive in that riding for a long time.
