The Lyrics

This is the first time that I have posted one of my song parodies at this site, although I have been writing song parodies for decades, usually just for the amusement of my co-workers.Some notes about the song: First, it would be best if you pronounce Lydia's as LYD YAS...two syllables, not three...it will fit better. Also, when I say that Kitty is lame, I don't mean that she has trouble walking. I mean that she is not exactly pleasing as a person.Since Pride and Prejudice is your basic "chic" novel, I've always found it sad that, you tend to HAVE to read it...whether you are male or female, because it's on a required reading list. Let's hope this song will help you get through the book.
Mrs. Bennet's got unmarried daughters,
Five of them without a want or care,
Lydia's dumb, she doesn't read a book,
She doesn't sew or cook, but loves Red Coats and wine.

Mary is the smartest of the daughters,
Smarter than her sisters, Liz and Jane,
Kitty's lame, coughs every then and now,
Her cough drives Daddy off, they go right up his spine.

Talkin' about, even at a ball, well,
You'll pick Mom out, she's the one that's so loud.

If you've found that you are bound to read this (to read this)
Book because it's on your reading list.
Don't you frown, do not be hard of heart,
You'll find that ev'ry part's on cable in good time.

Mrs. Bennet's got unmarried daughters,

Mrs. Bennet's got unmarried daughters,

Mrs. Bennet's got unmarried daughters,

Mrs. Bennet's got unmarried daughters.
