The Lyrics

This is the opening track of the Robert Lund CD Politicked Off! - which you had better hurry up and buy while Hillary is still in the race.
I'm for Hillary '08, I am
Hillary '08, a fan I am
She's still married to that pal of Al Gore
He nailed Washington eight years before
And everyone called them Billary (Billary!)
Either that or President Rod-ham (Rod-ham!)
I'm a left state fan of Hillary
Hillary '08, I am

Second's worse...than Clinton the first!

I'm for Hillary '08, I am
Hillary '08 'cause she's the man
She's so kingly on the capitol throne
Must be taking her testosterone
Her lovely spouse there is Willy-um (Jefferson!)
The very first first lady who's a man (Yes, ma'am!)
Now the Clinton brand pimps Hillary
Hillary '08, hot damn

H - E - L - L - Ree!

Hillary! (Hillary!)
Willy-um! (Billary!)
Hillary's my Uncle Sam madame
Hillary '08's my man!

A couple very minor pacing hlitches and 'way off on the politics -- after all, whatever else Hillary is or isn't, she's neither more of the GOP same ol', shame ol' nor a single-issue monomaniac that in so many guises so often self-defines as "Libertarian" nor a sincere but hopeless hence countereffective -to-own-cause Naderesque/Huckabee-esque "spoiler" -- but 5s nonetheless for a parody that realizes its apparent intent quite well. :-)

This was AWESOME as usual!

I will not ponder upon the political sense of this. It is just plain funny and well written as usual Mr. Spaff. Obama may have the biggest caucus but you couldn't find a bigger dick than Hill. Well done!

Oh yeah - Forgot to pay my condolences for the unfortunate demise of Mitt. And please excuse the lame phrase - "Sorry for your loss". And yes I AM stereotyping here. =;-)

Even I thought this was funny, so I'm giving it a five, I am.

I was listening to this on my way home this afternoon - to anyone who hasn't got "Politicked Off" yet: go out and buy your copy NOW! (The only downside is you may end up with an eight-year-old daughter singing "I'm not a sexist, racist, classist, ageist, homophobic ignoramus")
Peregrin - March 04, 2008 - Report this comment
This was great.
John Jenkins - March 04, 2008 - Report this comment
A very good read, but a better listen. I second Phil's suggestion. "Politicked Off" pokes fun at both parties in ways that partisans of the left and the right can both find amusing.

To quote Spaff, "what the Gentlemen from the theft state of New Jersey and the Country of Texas said." Utah "Guy" - again, I'm speechless - pure talent. (But who am I?) I'm sorry about Marie and if you talk to Guy, please express my condolences to him over the demise of Rev. Huckabee. Spaff, did you know that two out of three primary votes for Hillary Clinton were cast by Guy and not Pacholek? bob

If JJ and I agree on something political, then you *know* it's got to be right.. or left.. or somewhere in the middle.
Matthias - March 05, 2008 - Report this comment
Wellllllll... We know who Spaff is voting for! I liked "H-E-L-L-Ree" that was the funniest line of the entire thing, songs this short are hard to get huge laughs out of, even when done by Spaff.com.

LOL - beautifully written - 555

Embarrassingly belated thanks, y'all. Color me stunned purple that Guy DiRito and Michael Pacholek would claim to like the same political parody. And that John Jenkins and Bob Pagliaro would as well. Clearly, in our ability to mock Hillary, we have all found common ground. For this, she deserves the title The Great Uniter.

Thanks also to Stan & Jackie & AFW & alvin & Invisible Boy & Philbo & Pippin & Matthias & s2art! And sorry I suck so bad at commenting. One thing I do well is suck bad.

I love it! perfect score!

Thanks, Jay. At this point I'm wondering how much more damage she will do before she finally explodes like a big Death Star.
