The Lyrics

Well, here I am, finally posting again. I don't think I need explain where I'm coming from on this one.
How I wish we had Bill Clinton as our President again
He tried to make the people see that we are all the same
But his fibbing 'bout adultery on his record put a stain
But that's OK, 'cause he sure felt our pain
Bill would feel all your pain; leave you laughing
And when thing went awry he still just always seemed to know just what to say
But George Bush is in the White House and he's made it very plain
Seems all he cared 'bout was deposing Hussein

(Instrumental Break)

This George Bush is such a loser all his lies sure diss us all
Is he really that uncaring? Does he possess that much gall?
When he lies right to our faces shouldn't he be feeling shame?
All I can say, he sure don't feel our pain

Everything that he says leaves me gasping
And when it's clear he's lied he just continues to deny; he takes no blame
Will the folks here in the country finally recognize his game?
Election day, put an end to his reign

(Instrumental Break)

Don't you feel his disdain; there's no masking
His every single claim is just so lame and so inane; they're just untrue
Won't you send away this fellow, 'fore we all go down the drain?
Send him away; put an end to his reign

Thanks for the vote, whoever. Wasn't sure too many folks around here would be familiar with this although it was one of Lightfoot's better known numbers from the 60's.

Lightfoot's song was great...this one sucks!
