The Lyrics

I originally wanted to talk a lot of trash about my hometown, but I never really wrote anything over this song. I decided to do a simple Halloween song to this tune instead and it worked out so much better! As much as I hate Galveston, The original song always reminds me of what I like about the town
Halloween, oh Halloween
I still hear my doorbell ringing
I still see their dark eyes glowing
She was a princess-goblin
The night of Halloween

Halloween, oh Halloween
Think I hear a party crashing
While I watch police lights flashing
And I clean my porch
On the night of Halloween

I can see my pumpkin by the driveway
Smashed up there looking out at me
And is there toilet paper up in my tree?
Son of a beach where’d they go and run?

Halloween, oh Halloween
I am so annoyed with children
Before I clean this shit I stepped in
Before the eggs are dried and caked on

On the night of Halloween
On Halloween
Oh, on Halloween
Oh, on Halloween
On Halloween
Hmm, hmm, hmm
Ooh, ooh

Apparently, you've stepped on the toes of a Halloween prankster-vandal. I remember this song well, so I know you're spot on with pacing

Halloween decorations showed up in the dollar stores in July this year. The haunted houses were open by Labor Day. Some churches held candy and costume parties a couple weeks ago. By the 31st, it's really all over. No one trick-or-treats in my neighborhood. Plus, the forecast is for snow tomorrow evening. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially on Dollar General's shelves.
