Parody Song Title:

"Wichita Triangle"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

US stealth triangle seen over Wichita, Kansas very similar to one seen over Amarillo, Texas earlier this year. Are they the same claimed B-2s? No, do not believe that. One is a perfect delta, other is too small and B-2 has sawtooth rear fuselage anyway.
Some in Kansas had a weird sighting
In the sky - a delta unknown
Claimed just a B-2, so relax folks

But the AF's all liars
And they lie all the time
'Cause the Wichita Triangle is hard to define

No references, no description
Just another SAP plane
Yet it shows an AF test
The FA-XX by Boeing???

Could be an unmanned U
Phanton Ray perhaps inclined
'Cause the Wichita Triangle is hard to define

(Repeat)

I've seen the B-2's at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. Each plane has its own hanger and constitutes its own squadron. I thought the Air Force flew its secret stuff out in the deserts of Nevada or Arizona, not over relatively populated areas.

Nope Patrick, they fly them all over the US day or night, but usually at high altitude, out of camera sight. There are large facilities and areas in Nevada, California, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Ohio, etc... and Wichita has Boeing. Boeing is involved with the FA-XX 6th Gen fighter, a new drone Phantom Ray, and proposal for a bomber or strike aircraft. Some B-2s are claimed to use advanced stealth features and reconfigurations. No solid proof though. Since the two planes are in open sky at altitude with no scale refs, it is really impossible to identify them. But one is a pure delta by form and that's not a B-2 for sure.
