The Lyrics

Altho' you are a guy
When feelings come about
You like to dress a feminine ladylike way
And then go out

Your masculinity
Most times, is all you show
And yet before this evening is over
Your hips will sway, you know..

'Cause you enjoy cross dressing
And the wife's gone away
The perfect chance
So, to yourself, you say...

Chuck Be A Lady Tonight
Chuck Be A Lady Tonight
Chuck, tho' you were not born a lady to begin with,
Chuck Be A Lady Tonight..

Chuck let the neighborhood see
How cute in makeup, you'll be
Where is that brush that you apply it to your skin with?
Chuck, you're a lady..tee, hee

The ladies get to wear such nice things
So plain and drab are all men's clothes
You'll make a splash in purple, or maybe the pink
Pull hard on those tight panty hose..

Run with this urge you can't fight
Absurd is that word, transvestite

Guys will believe that you are someone they can sin with
Chuck Be A Lady Tonight
Chuck Be A Lady Tonight
Chuck Be A Lady Tonight..

Oh, Tonight
Oh, Tonight
Ah, Tonight..
Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Uh, AF, although this song was a staple of Sinatra's shows from 1955 on, and he was in "Guys and Dolls" as crap-game impersario Nathan Detroit, it was Marlon Brando as high-roller Sky Masterson who sang it in the movie.

Thanks, Paul....Actually, I thought some might come to such a conclusion...but, the name Chuck happened to be the one that rhymed and punned best with 'luck'....Just the Chuck of the draw, you might say
