The Lyrics

There are certainly terrorists among the hundreds detained in Guantanimo Bay. And there are certainly innocent people. Sort them out and have trials already. This America I can look at with admiration doesn't warehouse people indefinitely without bringing charges against them or providing them representation--even 'enemy combatants'. That's the trademark of hideously brutal third-world regimes. This narrator of this song is George W. Bush because, despite some suggestions to the contrary, he's running the whole show.By the way, I was 12 miles from ground zero when 9/11 happened, and I can honestly say I'm more worried about the permanent embarrassment that will be suffered by this country because of it's human rights violations than any prospective terrorist attack. (The Muslim-Jew line here is just a statement of fact and not meant to have subjective implications, for I'm a Jew myself. Also, the adjective 'Christian' here only applies to those who use the Bible to justify stripping human beings of their dignity.) I was always taught as both a Jew and American that we're supposed to be better than this. (I'll try to lighten up for my next parody.)
And now, no end is near;
Come see my reputation hurtin'
In fact, I prey on fear,
Won't state their case, though I'm quite certain.

They've* called the charges bull.
Unraveled each and every lie way;
Yet there, yet there they sit:
Guan-tan-i-mo Bay.

I chose the not-so-few;
And put those men into detention
I did what I wanted to
And in the end I'll get my pension.

A planned retarded course;
I do 'interrogation' my way,
And so, and so they sit
Guan-tan-i-mo Bay

Yes, there were crimes, and blood is due
Muslims all, and not a single Jew.
But through it all, I've feigned there's doubt,
I've locked them up, won't let 'em out.
I hold their balls and love it all;
Guan-tan-i-mo Bay

Can't hang those bastards high
I'll be accused of rights abusing.
And now, as fears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

Can't think-- but did all that;
And may I say - not in a wry way,
Oh no, they can't leave,
Guan-tan-i-mo Bay.

For is it a man, who lets them rot?
Puts on himself this moral blot?
Does "Christian" things he truly feels:
The Bible's world of double-deals
The record shows not if they're foes -
Guan-tan-i-mo Bay!

Not to worry, my guts been churning accompanied by convulsion causing chills since the 2000 election. Keep up the great work. I need to learn to laugh at these matters.
