Rat Pack August owes a debt to amiright's John A. Barry. His savage parodies about Texas Governor Rick Perry on August 8 alerted me about several horrifying statements made by his supporters. I researched these, and found that some of the individuals actually spoke at Perry's prayer rally. While I generally have tolerance for social conservatives (in some but not all beliefs, I could be called one), these quotes are so bizarre that they can and will destroy any chance of a Perry presidential victory in 2012. Plainly put, Rick now has more baggage than a major airport terminal. BTW, this Sinatra version is different from the Chevalier version I have used in the past. ;D

Candidates will always be endorsed by those who they would not endorse themselves. That said, to nominate Rick Perry would clinch President Obama's re-election. Sorry, Governor. You'd be good, but you're just too vunerable. ;D
