The Lyrics

old films, with him, i will never choose
no use watchin' 'em...i won't be amused
cause he's a pest and he's been blowin' a fuse
tell me what's been shakin' with this tom cruise

screwy...screwy, baby
screwy...screwy, baby
screwy...screwy, baby
tell me what's been shakin' with this tom cruise

well, we saw him jumpin'...crazy as a man can be
he likes tall women...though he's just five foot three
and brooke shields, he's been knocking...what a vicious attack
he's kinda spooky kooky...could it be that he's cracked ?
cause he's a mess...he seems dazed and confused
tell me what's been shakin' with this tom cruise

screwy...screwy, baby
screwy...screwy, baby
screwy...screwy, baby
tell me what's been shakin' with this tom cruise

i like to go to movies, baby...i ain't lyin'
but if this clown is in 'em...i won't take the time
i'd be depressed....or else, have me a snooze
tell me what's been shakin' with this tom cruise

screwy...screwy, baby
screwy...screwy, baby
screwy...screwy, baby
tell me what's been shakin' with this tom cruise

he thinks he's something...cause of scientology
that weird religion...makes no damn sense to me

screwy...screwy, baby
screwy...screwy, baby
screwy...screwy, baby
tell me what's been shakin' with this tom cruise

Suh-weet! Too bad a line about Katie H. probably wouldn't have fit too well. Great refrain..."Screwy baby!"

I'm with you, but he's Olivier compared to Keanu. 5s
Johnny D - September 02, 2005 - Report this comment
5s, and to continue along John Barry's line of reasoning, a cubic centimeter of the vacuum of space is Olivier to Keanu. But at least a vacuum and Keanu have one thing in common.

LOL!! I could not have said this better myself, Alvin! I have been trying to think of a Tom knocker for a while now...great job!

What's the difference between Tom Cruise and trying to parody a Fifties rock song like "Sea Cruise"? Trying to parody a Fifties rock song is a TALL ORDER. I knew someone who went to Glen Ridge High School in North Jersey with Tom Cruise. He was on the wrestling team in 1980 when my friend was a freshman. (In 1989, members of that team would infamously take advantage of a retarded girl at a kegger.) My friend says Tom was weird then, but at least he was quiet. Now he's weird and loud.

Agri: What did Tom say to Katie when he discovered she was shorter? "Holmes, you astound me!" Johnny B: Maybe Tom can get the aliens to give him a Baronet like the Queen gave Olivier. Johnny D: Yeah, nature abhors them both. Arwen: I thought you were trying to think of a Vin knocker or an Orlando knocker. Or is my mind dirtier than usual today? (Now I'm gonna get smacked, but the laugh was worth it.)

Ahhh...like a breath of fresh air...a finley crafted paradoy that would go well with pinto beans and a diet coke. :^{)

Michael, I don't have to TRY to think of a Vin knocker OR an Orlando knocker...they're always on my mind anyway...; ) I'll still smack you though...if you want me to.

I do believe this was a 50's song, Alvin...but it's a fantastic parody about one of my favorite actors. I especially like the "screwy, baby" lines. I must give it a perfect 5.
