This is a parody I came up with when Rod Blagojevich was impeached last winter, albeit updated to reflect what has taken place since then with Blago. Enjoy! :-)

A corrupt governor who really was a clod
One night after John McCain went down in defeat
Rod went and tried to sell Obama's Senate seat.
Bribery, that is. Federal crime. Serious charges.
Well next thing ya know, ol' Rod's in jail
The Feds came and locked him up and threw him in a cell
They said "penitentiary is where ya oughta be"
Where at least he'll get his room and board for free.
Prison, that is. Breakin' rocks. Makin' license plates.
Now it's time to say goodbye to Rod and all his ilk
Them Chicago politicians really make me want to puke
They took care of that with Rod's impeachment proceedins'
Where the Senate made him pay for his shady dealins'.
Conviction, that is. Unanimous Senate vote. Kicked out of office.
Face it, Rod -- you're a scumbag. Get a fur piece away from here.
