The Lyrics

Thanks for your concern about by my being absent..LCC...been in the "Hosp" again..three times in three weeks...will cover some of it in parodies, if I can stay clear for a while
Make the word go away,
Let's all bury the "N" word
Not a proper thing to say,
Let's make that word go away..

Try to remember civil war times,
Abraham Lincoln won the fray..
Then he decreed no more slav'ry
So make the word go away..

Make the word go away,
Don't forget Martin Luther
Civil rights preached MLK..
Let's make the word go away

Don't be sorry when you've said it,
Can't make it up, anyway..
Too many slings, and "Forgive Me's"
Let's make the word go away..

Make the word go away,
From our vocabularies..
Civil Rights ruled LBJ...
So make the word go away,

Let's make the word go away..

Beautifully well-spoken sentiments in this one - I liked it very much. I didn't vote because I couldn't possibly label it 'funny' in the usual sense and I didn't want to skew your score unfairly.

I agree with your sentiment on the "N" word. It has no place in modern English IMHO. And I too was concerned about you, sorry you were in the hospital again. I was too from Saturday about 8pm to Sunday evening. I have Hepatitis B, an ulcer and some other nasty stuff. :-( 5s to you, and I'll give you 5s, but the 5 for "how funny" will be substituted for one awarded for sentiment.

Sir L'AIR, I just felt it somehow, in the witchy-Wind, Sir ! Please take it easy: No cleaning of the roof or storm drains, OK? Please drink your Pomogranate juice just 6 oz daily! ! Knudsen's ~JUST POMEGRANATE ~ is good! So is their BlueBerry. OATmeal will also help to clear those arteries. Just 3 Kiwi's daily will do the work of Coumadin! . . glad to see you "back in der saddle", Cowboy SatyrMayor!

Sir, L'AIR, as we grow in years, we produce less MELATONIN, I take the liquid drops from the local Health Food store. It's worth it!! and Natural, sir! Also, when you're there pick up a can of ~ RAW HONEY ~ every morning & night ~On Empty Tummy~ take One TABLEspoon honey w/ One teaspoon Cinnamon, mix in hot water, like a tea. This is clear your arteries. Stay well, Sir L'AIR.

Some things are better left unsaid. I dug the MLK and LBJ lines in your song! Nice to hear about those FFP's...well, actually, MLK was only elected for president back then. Anyways, great as always and 5's! Like Andria, I'm sorry you were back in the "Hosp"! Hope you feel better!

Thanks, again, HoneyCakes...I have tried some of that the past...I like raw Honeys...the rawer, the better...and I might try your tonic, there, too...sounds interesting and tasty..if the bees'll give it up....and thank you, also, Christie....
