The Lyrics
Jesus performed many miracles besides those that appear on most published miracle lists. Matthew was the last of the twelve called. Among the eleven previously called was Simon, called the "Zealot" because of his membership in a political movement violently opposed to Rome. Simon had to watch Jesus invite Matthew, a tax collector for Rome, to become the 12th and final member of His "circle of 12." Without Jesus being there, Simon would have killed Matthew on the spot. It required a miracle for Jesus to keep both Matthew and the Zealot from murdering each other over their three years together.
