Parody Song Title:

"Jello Jittikins"

Parody Written by:

My sister's cat

The Lyrics

"Jello Jittikins" was a term of endearment by which my sister used to call her cats. All the other references in the following song are also things my sister at least at one time spoke of, did, believed in, or whatever.
Betty's scared to death of a spider,
With or without curds and whey.
But so long as she thinks it's a tick, yes,
She'll be okay, at least for today!

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Betty used to talk of her children,
Jesus, Jusus, Jerked their names.
But now she says she doesn't want offspring.
Some say those three were just childhood games.

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Betty likes her home down in Georgia,
And seldom travels elsewhere with glee,
Though once she went where there's leis and hula,
That state way down there near the south sea.

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

So Betty, liking not much to travel,
Spends lots of time inside her own gates.
But she'll venture to California,
Her favorite of the forty-nine states.

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

A beema-baima-bo was her hero
When Betty was a kid, wonderstruck.
Who knows what a beema-baima-bo is?
Though, one, I've heard tell, was Donald Duck.

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Betty saw Snake River's half-canyon,
And gazing from east Oregon's shore
Into a huge abyss with no bottom,
Said, "I will not go there anymore!"

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Betty won't raft down the Salmon.
That's one place she refuses to go.
She's sure there would just be no return from
The make-believe land called "Idaho".

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Betty thinks trick-or-treat's an airplane,
A-soaring high above land and sea.
Betty thinks trick-or-treat's an airplane.
She's thought so ever since she was three.

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Betty won't go to Australia.
She's scared of falling off of the Earth.
So, just like the plague, she avoids it
All the way from Brisbane to Perth.

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Spit's wetter than regular water,
So Betty's favorite proverb does say,
As sure as Christmas time in the krumphoot
Would be a big thrill day after day.

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Betty's so fond of padparadschas,
They surely are her favorite jewel,
Ever since she was a grasshopper,
A-longing to be in public school.

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)

Yes, Betty thinks trick-or-treat's an airplane,
E'er since the girl next door told her so.
But that's one aircraft Betty won't fly on --
It might just soar above Idaho!

She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
She calls me Jello Jittikins (quite rightly!)
(repeat and fade)

This is awesome dudes! Never saw such a perfectly compiled collated and compilated groovy collection of all the fond memories of days of krumphoots, padparadschas, beema-baima-bos, publick school grasshoppers, and even fear of bottomless pits and falling off the Earth "down under"! Keep it up. A real treasure trove here for all who remember their public school grasshopper days, or who ever doubted the reality of Idaho, pondered the wettness of spit, or saw a deeper mystery to trick-or-treat, or even sang about meanie mumbos.
