The Lyrics

You have to hand it to the Obama campaign machine. NOBODY is better at reducing the complicated task of governing the country to a bumper sticker slogan. The new buzz words are "Phony Scandals". This is not an off-the-teleprompter inartful phrase for which the president will later provide "context". Jay Carney and many others are using it as well. If these are phony, then why is it necessary to promise the public that these "mistakes" will never happen again? ;D

"Phony Scandals!", so says O.
Misdirection. G.O.P. show.
"Phony Scandals!" It's their great new slo-gan.
So he's gonna snap his fingers
And then "POOF!" they'll go away.

But what of the I.R.S.,
And what of the D.O.J.?
Who cares about Benghazi anyway?

"Phony Scandals!" Scanned e-mail.
Got to whitewash - press must not fail.
Each new day brings - yet more allegations,
But he's promised rapid action
At the pace of some lame snail.

"Phony Scandals!". Naught but fake.
Never vengenance - honest mistake.
Two low level - guys in Cincinnati.
And if government's too big then
We should give them all a break.

So as Hillary has said - What diff'rence
(What bloody diff'rence!)
Does - it - all - now - make!

When O. says "We will find all of those responsible and bring them to Justice", he means he's directed Eric Holder's Department of Justice to go after only their political enemies. ;D

I like this song, OMR. It's got a good beat. You can march to it. .... As a matter of fact, we did march to a slightly altered version of "Tiny Bubbles" in basic training

No wonder Obama's ratings have slipped into the 40s. I love the way he was going to eliminate Bush's wire-tapping and torture methods and then actually expanded operations and for use against US citizens as well! 555!!!

Well done, OMR. I actually had the idea of doing a Phony Scandals parody to this OS, but I did not have the time to spend on it. I'm glad you did and used it so skillfully.

And also like you, I would like to give the government a break - break off about half of the agencies and let them never be funded again.

The whole corrupt, war mongering, bribe taking, graft distributing, incompetent, anti-American, racist, envy-driven, divisive, peeping Tom excuse for a government, and the depraved filth who run it, all depend upon one thing: fear of the IRS. That's why that whole "scandal" will come to naught. Eliminate that fear, and the whole structure would collapse in a few hours.
