This is an ode to three departing media figures who recently left (or are leaving) their primary shows. It's two and a half really, as Juan Williams continues to appear on Fox News. Yes, I'll miss Keith Olbermann - he was a tremendous source of material for my mill. ;D



Has anybody here seen that dude Keith Olbermann?
Why is he no longer on?
The hero of "progressives" -
An annoying jerk to more folks.
You see, come last Friday night - and he's gone.

Anybody here seen that fellow Juan?
N.P.R. silenced his vox.
They say that he hates Muslims,
Needs a head shrinker's treatment bad.
They just fired him 'cause - he's on Fox!

Everyone hear 'bout our good friend Regis?
To retirement now goes he.
He did a lot of great shows
And for one big thing we love him:
He outlasted - Kathy Lee!

Although the three of them were so diff'rent,
Grandma says bad things like these will happen in threes.
But Granny - please!
Don't be tense! It's just a co-in-ci-dence!

Anybody here still watch that guy Conan?
Leno stole his show - the con!
So now he will be fading to oblivion
With Olbermann, Regis, and Juan.

So, Rosie O'Donnell is missing? Is anyone looking for her? Nice parody. Never watched any of them, won't miss them at all. Only thing worse than TV is daytime TV. Didn't someone say that Oprah is fading away, too?
