The Lyrics

When I
Go out in de Winter, scarf around my head
Well, I rather would be iiiin bed
Poor me, me ears are like ice

Cold out in de Winter, both eyes and nose red
Wish dat I was inside iiiinstead
Poor me, me ears are like ice

Me feet and me hands, they are wrapped up so warmly
It a shame that my head is a-freeeezing
Poor me, me ears are like ice

Me like brass monkey, balls may a-drop off
Wish I was hairy like Wookie or Clyde.
Poor me, me ears are like ice

Out for de night, now I got frostbite
Ears feeling dey're alight. There ain't no respite
Poor me, me ears are like ice

Poor me, me ears are like ice
Ear today, gone tomorrow
Poor me, ears are like ice
I not a-like de Win-ter

"Ear today, gone tomorrow" This is so whacked. I did this song myself once. It's a fun write. Gotta 5 ya just for that line alone.

:-) Thanks, all... strange, nobody's used the word "cool"
Roger - yes, I'm pretty sure you'll find that in the "misheard lyrics" section of the website.
Pat - this website is one of the few places puns are really appreciated - I try 'em at home, and get a very condescending "No, Dad" in return...

hey, between us we nailed both summer and winter today Phil - this was worth 555 just for the "me ears are like ice" sub alone, let alone making the context work - 555

"ear today, gone tomorrow". : You did a lot with this short and difficult-to-pace song, Phil, but are there more verses than this? Your 2:17 Youtube link goes on longer than you do.

Not bad... I agree with Agrimorfee, perhaps you based this one a different version of the song, or something, but there are a lot more stanzas in this song that you seemed to cut for whatever reason. This was funny, I loved the sub, as well as a lot of the lines, especially the Wookie.

Decathlon...now I'm chilly. I've been sitting at my desk, looking out at the snow falling all morning, and haven't been cold until now. =( Nice work, though, Phil...=)

(DEC2) Good parody Phil, can't say anything negative as far as your parodies humor, um except it didn't really go with the video one well, but I just kinda assumed it wasn't written to that version.
